Day 5 - Weybridge to Windsor

Other people might go to Thorpe Water Park on their summer holidays - we walk past!

then stop at St Mary's at Thorpe

and on to the Rose and Crown at Thorpe Green

then on to Christ Church at Virginia Water

But on into Windsor Great Park the rain came... virtually hiding this massive statue

then on down the Long Walk (living up to its name in this weather) to Windsor

Then we stopped for Evensong at St George's Chapel (poignantly, I'm writing this on the day of Princess Margaret's funeral at St George's). The picture is from a slide Bill bought, not a guard of honour for the pilgrims!

And so to Clewer Convent.
