The St Wilfrids Pilgrimage 1981

Day 5: Selsey to Chichester

I don't know if it was a boring morning's walk, but there are no photos before lunch. And at lunchtime, not pilgrims but goats!

At Itchenor, Sister Marie borrowed Mike's services

Next prayer stop was at St Nicholas', Itchenor

George dropped in to say hello, and his bike was used as an arrow mount.

At West Itchenor we walked down the jetty...

...and took the ferry...

...a convoy of small boats.

At Bosham Snoopy had a paddle.

Then we had prayers at Holy Trinity Church.

We soon got our first view of Chichester Cathedral.

But first we had prayers at Fishbourne...

...and a chance for a rest.

...and further prayers at St Wilfrid's in Chichester.

We then gathered at the Cathedral for a final prayer stop of the day, before heading for Chichester Youth Wing.
