DAY TEN Rest Day in Brighton
Our second rest day - allegedly a Monday in the outside world.
Again a relaxed day, consisting of laundry, shopping, wandering along the front, etc.
Even Dennis is having a relaxing drink before going out for . . . a relaxing drink, presumably.
Others preferred to stay in and catch up with the news.
I strolled along the beach and took some photos of the old pier.
The seagulls were rather interested in Clare's lunch and so she took the opportunity to take some photos.
In the evening, most of us went out to Donatello's - an Italian restaurant.
Pasta and pizza were the main items on the menu, of course. Jonny was quite surprised (and pleased) to get a whole pizza to himself, but soon worked out the best way to tackle it.
After the meal, some pilgrims returned to the hall, others went to the pub and the most energetic went clubbing. A rest day?
