We will walk the paths our fathers trod before us - St avid's 2010

Day 12: Carmarthen to Whitland

We turn to the west and head resolutely for St David's as we start the final leg of the pilgrmage. Today is the least hilly day of the pilgrimage, in percentage terms. In this part of Wales the footpaths are very poorly maintained and as a result we follow minor roads for most of the day. For the first time this year, we are on ground previously covered by our pilgrimage: St David's 1992.
