Day 6: Rest Day in Lancaster

Pilgrims might like to visit the Priory Church of St Mary (with St George & St John) Priory Close, Lancaster LA1 1YZ (SD474619), which today offers Anglican Communion at its "Chapel of Ease" the historic church of St John's at lunch time. Alternatively, Pilgrims leaving early the following morning might like to attend the Public Vigil Mass for the Feast of the Assumption at the Cathedral close to the hall. Pilgrims with a yearning for the sea, might like to travel to Morecambe. Otherwise there is the town and local Leisure Centre & Launderette facilities to explore. For those interested in Military History: visit the Kings Own Royal Regiment Museum.
