The Buckfast Millennium Pilgrimage 2018

Day 3: Ringwood to Wimborne Minster

This walk is over moderately easy terrain. In the morning we leave Ringwood, following the Castleman Trailway for most of the morning. The Castleman Trailway is a walking/cycle route that follows the old now defunct Southampton to Dorchester rail line. In the afternoon we approach lunch at the village of Holt, across the Holt Heath nature reserve. After lunch we again cross the heath before a lengthy stretch alongside roadway and through a built up area to our destination.
