30 pilgrims were amongst a packed congregation at St Joseph’s Redhill last week. Some pilgrims joined the choir and two were wearing pilgrimage tee-shirts. The tribute, read by Pat’s daughter Rachel, mentioned the love and sense of community that Pat found in, and brought to, walking pilgrimages. My wife and I were fortunate to meet Pat during the 1994 and 1996 pilgrimages. The happy memories fill our minds and warm our hearts. May her soul be at peace with our Heavenly Father.
Great photo (where was it taken?) – I can’t help smiling back at her. It’s as though Pat’s going to get up and walk off the page! She’ll stay alive in my memory perched on that rock while she makes that exciting journey to see the face of her Father. Love to Keith and all the family.
