Arundel Pilgrimage 2015

Day 6: Rest Day in Worth Abbey

Worth Abbey is a Benedictine monastery, home to a community of Roman Catholic monks who follow the Rule of St Benedict. We are fortunate to be able to spend time in this sanctuary where the Gospel of Christ is expressed through a community life of prayer and service. Pilgrims are warmly invited to pray with the monastic community at any of the liturgies listed. You are advised to arrive at least five or ten minutes before the times published. On a more practical note pilgrims will be pleased to learn that there are laundry facilities on site.

No pictures of pilgrims eating their burgers and sausages outdoors, because we didn't. It was cold and wet! Back indoors, Mike describes tomorrow's walk. Impressive tapestry to the left John Chenery Original Tweet

Brother Anthony Brockham, pilgrim of old, came to see his sister Clare P and the rest of us. Sorry about the lack of focus in this picture! John Chenery Original Tweet
