The High Weald Landscape Trail starts in Horsham, and as its name suggests, follows a scenic route across the High Weald. We walked along stretches of it on days 7 and 8, and today we follow it for most of the day after coming off the Tunbridge Wells Circular Walk. This is a shortish but hilly day. It is a nice mix of lanes, countryside, forest and parkland. Calculating hilliness by dividing height ascended by distance covered, today just about comes out as the hilliest day of the pilgrimage.
