The Buckfast Millennium Pilgrimage 2019

Day 6: Rest Day in Brigg

Today is a rest day and pilgrims are largely free to plan their own timetable. However it is the Feast of the Assumption (and of Fr Tony's Birthday!), and we have RC Mass at 10.00am in the catholic church. Brigg is a small market town and today is market day so there will be lots of stalls on Market Place and Wrawby Street. The Churches Together shop in Wrawby Street is open from 10am to 2 pm. Trains and buses are available to those wanting to go further afield.

St Mary's RC Church, Brigg where we joined the parish mass on the Feast of the Assumption. It was in fact more than just a mass. It was the climax of a Novena offered for cancer sufferers, with exposition and a healing service after mass. John Chenery Original Tweet
