Today is a rest day and so pilgrims are free to plan their own timetable. We encourage pilgrims to attend one of the services in Winchester Cathedral and/or the 12.15 mass in St Peter's where we are staying, listed below. We don't have a tour of the cathedral arranged. Close to the cathedral is Tourist Information. See below for details of the leisure centre and the launderette.

The Milner hall where we stayed. This was the original post-reformation Catholic church in Winchester, built in 1792 when (like ST Mary on the Quay in Bristol) Catholic churches were allowed but could not look like churches, so mostly looked like civic buildings. Louise
