Our first night's accommodation is Marton Methodist Church on The Grove, off Stokesay Road, just 200m from the The Marton Hotel & Country Club Bus Stop (served by buses 28, 28A, 28B, 29 and 29A from Middlesbrough Bus Station, itself 15 minutes walk from the railway station) or 20 minutes walk from Marton Station (following The Grove). It will be possible to leave luggage at the accommodation once the team arrive, which we anticipate being 4pm. Registration will open at 4:30 and will close before the Commissioning Service - late arrivals will be able to register later in the evening. Aidan Simons

All ready for registration - all we need is some pilgrims! Aidan Simons

Defying the official directions to walk down the road from the station to the hall, some pilgrims took a scenic alternative across the park, remembering the route from 2009 - in reverse John Chenery
