Day 11: Rest Day in Skipton

After our 3 hilliest days we have another rest day in the market town of Skipton. There appear to be no services at the town's Anglican churches today, and we will join a 7pm Mass at the Catholic Church where we are staying. Skipton appears to be well endowed with launderettes - 4 within a mile of our accommodation!! The Skipton Leisure and Wellbeing Hub is on Gargrave Road. The centre offers a 25 metre six lane swimming pool, gym and a sauna and steam room. It's a mile from the hall. Other attractions include Skipton Castle, boat trips on the Canal, Craven Museum. There's a Visitor Centre in the High Street, 1/4 mile away.
