Our penultimate day stared with Mass at the church next to the hall, then along the famous Undercliff past Saltdean and Rottingdean to Brighton.
Our sandwiches for lunch were distributed by the Palace Pier, where we again did Ring-a-Ring-of-Roses, the the bemusement of passing locals. But by now, we pilgrims were totally unselfconscious!
The easy coastal walk hadn't prepared us for the climb to Devil's Dyke (another favourite of pilgrimages and reunions). But it's all downhill from there to Beeding. Well, almost! (Don't mention Truleigh Hill and Beeding Hill)
And so to our final night's accommodation, the Convent of the Blessed Sacrament at Upper Beeding.
