Bruce and Hazel are inviting pilgrims to weekend reunion at their church in Gloucester from Friday evening 23rd to Sunday morning 25th October. This is open to all pilgrims, not just those who came on the Roses Pilgrimage this year. Precise location will be provided when you book.

Likely cost is £25 per person (to be confirmed).

If you’d like to come, please email Bruce on reunion@thepilgrims.org.uk as soon as possible, stating whether whole weekend or which parts you’d like to attend. Bookings will close on 16 October or earlier if we reach capacity.

1530 Hall open for pilgrims to arrive.

~1900 Light meal

Saturday 24th

0700 Rise time and breakfast

~0820 Set off for the Gloucester Transport Hub 

0840 Buses to Painswick 

Walk up to Painswick Beacon then NW on the Wysis Way down past Robinswood hill to the cafe there for a bite of lunch.

Cross town to the Sharpness canal and north to Gloucester Quays

Distance of 16km and most downhill.

1630 – 1715 Evensong in the Cathedral

1800 Vigil mass in St Peters London Rd

1915 Dinner at St Catharines

Sunday 25th

0730 Rise and pack

Breakfast

0930 – 0945 clear hall

1000 Coffee in church for those not rushing away

1030 – 1145 Parish service
