Cheers Terry! Happy memories… RIP
That is very sad news. Terry was a Pilgrimage stalwart. We had lost touch with him since he moved from Croydon but have fond memories of many fun times together. May he rest in peace xx
Lesley & John Brennan
Hello Lesley,
I hope you and John are well.
Where did Terry move to?
Terry moved to Suffolk to be near his daughter Carole. Xx
Sorry to hear that. He was good company and obviously enjoyed the pilgrimages. I wonder how his life has been since leaving the pilgrimage?
I hope he’s climbing up the stairway to Heaven as I write.
Thanks for the photo reminders of Terry. RIP
I am told the funeral will be in Redhill. I will add the details when known.
Hi John, I’ve been in contact with Terry’s daughter, Carole, and she’d like everyone to know that Terry’s funeral will be held on Friday March 15th 11:30am at St Joseph’s Catholic Church, Redhill RH1 1LF. Please could you send an email to your list of Pilgrims, thanks Andrea (née Donachie)
Many thanks Andria xx
Thanks Andrea.
I will make another post which will generate an email to all those subscribed to this website,
Sorry to hear the news. Thinking of you Terry and your family at this time. May you rest in peace .xx
Terry was inspirational on the few pilgrimages I’ve joined since 2012. May he enjoy walking towards God’s loving embrace and a refreshing rest in eternal bliss. My love & prayers for Terry, may he rest in peace with consolation to his family, friends and fellow Pilgrims
I have fond memories of Terry, even if we do not seem to be talking to each other in the photograph.
Terry Dobson was a dear lecturer of mine 30+ years ago at East Surrey College, Redhill. An inspirational man. I forged my career from his guidance all those years back.
A sad, sad loss.
He never walked alone.
